Kids Body Armour – Long Sleeve

Made for young riders who like to push it – from the pump track and skatepark to MTB trails and kids' motocross. Our RIDE-SHIELD Long Sleeve Body Armour puts padding where young riders tend to land, without getting in the way of riding.

RIDE-SHIELD padding covers the shoulders, arms, chest, ribs and back, in a lightweight, breathable zip-up top that moves with them. Wear it on its own or layered under a jersey or hoodie – and it's machine washable for the muddy days.

Now with an upgraded zip – quick and easy to get on and off before and after the ride.

A favourite for kids' MTB, BMX and motocross, and for youth riders moving up to bigger tracks.

Width is measured flat across the chest; length from the top of the shoulder to the hem. How to check: lay a top that fits your child well flat and compare it with the table. Body armour should sit close to the body so the padding stays in place.

Protection reduces the risk of injury but cannot prevent all injuries. Always ride with a correctly fitted helmet.

Kids Body Armour

Really disappointed with the body armour, my son does BMX racing has had one big crash and the elbow pad moved and didn’t protect his elbow, just tore straight through the fabric! Really disappointing 😖

Great bit of kit!

This body armour (paired with the TiGo knee pads and gloves, ofcourse!) has given my daughter a huge boost in confidence.
She wears it at the skatepark. When she's racing BMX and also on MTB days. Has never complained about it and says its comfy. Offers a great amount of protection and is so easy to take on and off.
Can wear it as a top. Or with a jersey/jumper over the top for the colder days. A great piece of kit, that we now can't be without!

Long sleeve body armour top and trousers

I bought these for my 5yr old grandson. They fitted him perfectly, he went out for his 1st ride in them yesterday and he didn't find them restrictive or uncomfortable. At one point he came off his bike and 'tested' the padding, it certainly worked. He didn't hurt himself and gave him confidence for the future. I would definitely recommend this clothing.

Great protection but very poor zip

Fantastic equipment, the trousers gloves and body armour jacket offer great protection but the zip on the jacket is of very poor quality and not fit for purpose. It does not stay done up at all even from its first use.

Long awaited to come back in stock and delighted with the product. Our son is using this for his BMX racing and finds it’s comfortable and confidence inspiring.

Will actually wear it!

We tried another TiGo armour and Laddo would not wear it at all, it just didn't feel right. Ti-Go were so accommodating and swapped for us. This one he will now wear and it was really convenient to remove and put back on on a sweat race day last weekend.
We did have to alter slightly by removing the side pads these were still a bit too bulky for our LO.
