This updated version of our kids' cycling shorts has a tougher outer fabric that handles mud, roots and whatever the trail throws at them. Because kids don't ride in a straight line – and their shorts shouldn't slow them down.

A stretchy under-seat panel gives freedom of movement in the saddle, whether they're sprinting, climbing or throwing shapes at the pump track. Hook-and-loop adjustable tabs on either side give a wide range of fit, so they grow with your child and stay comfortable for longer. Add a button fly and you've got shorts that stay put.

The small zip pocket keeps valuables secure – perfect for a key or a bit of trail snack money.
